i love making soups in the winter, but hadn't done the first one until i made this sometime last week. it was really easy - and if you already have the spices in the kitchen - pretty cheap, too (though if you don't - it's actually quite expensive - luckily we already had the majority of them) plus super flavorful and healthy. i also substituted the chicken broth for veg and had enough goat cheese leftover to make sandwiches throughout the week. goat cheese is so addicting - i could eat it for every meal.
