last week milton and i went for a walk specifically so i could take photos of the changing leaves in our neighborhood. every spring and fall i want to do this but usually forget to document until the leaves have all been blown away or the springtime flowers have wilted in the sun. be warned, lots of leaf photos ahead.

this tree is a stunner - i pass it on my drive in and out and it's yellow leaves are so bright and beautiful. a few days ago we noticed it'd gone from yellow to rusty orange.
